Founded in 1789, Georgetown University is one of the oldest universities in the United States. Located in Washington DC. Georgetown University is a leading comprehensive private university ranked 20th in the 2018 US NEWS US undergraduate degree. Georgetown University is about two miles northwest of the White House. Georgetown University is far ahead of other Ivy League schools in political science, international relations, and social sciences majors. Many children of foreign politicians are studying here, thus giving the university a strong international vibe and earning the reputation of “politician paradise”. Also, Georgetown University is also a school with aristocratic vibe in the eyes of Americans.

Vanderbilt university （范德堡大学）
Vanderbilt University, Informally Vendee, was donated by American railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt and is a world-renowned private research university city in Nashville, Tennessee founded in 1873, the school has very good reputation in the southern United States and one of the world’s leading universities, belonging to the New Ivy League. As one of the most influential private universities in the United States, Vanderbilt University ranked 14th in the US News in the United States in 2018, second in the South after Duke University.it is called “Harvard of the South” because of its excellent educational quality and strong scientific research strength.
As an elite university, Vanderbilt University has 11 colleges and ranks among the four major academic fields in business, law, medicine, and education. It enjoys a high reputation in the South. The College of Education is among the best in the United States.
